God's hatred

Everyone, believer and non-believer alike, hear the phrase "God is love." They mistakenly believe that God is only love and this love is just an emotion that God has for His creation. But what about hate? Does God hate? He most certainly does. His hatred does not diminish His love, rather it magnifies it to those who are recipients of His special redemptive love - namely God's elect.

I often hear it asserted that God loves every last person without exception who was ever born and who will ever be born including those in hell and Satan himself. The default verse to "prove" such naivety would be John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

At first glance, and taken in isolation, this seems to be a proclamation of God's universal love for every last person. Everyone "gets a chance" is the pseudo-protestant's mantra. As if it is required of God to give His enemies "a chance." But we must remember, as in all other Biblical studies the context of the author's words. Would we do the same with Shakespeare or the newspaper? No, we don’t. Then why do Christians do so with the Bible? For example, what does the words "love," and "world" mean? What is the author actually communicating rather than what we think he should be communicating. I said recently, “The whole world watches the World Cup.” And every person in the room understood what I meant by “world.” At this point I am reminded of the futility of "blogging" on deep theological issues unless you devote a full time effort doing so. So I'll leave you to your studies.

John 3:16 teaches that the one that "believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." No where, implicit or otherwise, does it teach all (every last person in heaven and hell) want, will, should, or even could believe in him. It is simply a statement about the one's that actually DO believe in him and the benefit(s) received. So, like good, faithful Disciples of Christ, we should compare scripture with scripture. Going to direct teachings/doctrines that are implicitly or explicitly referring to the subject at hand. In this case God's love for His elect. I won't go into that here right now. I just want to emphasize that shooting off a verse about God's love and declaring God to be only love is a gross disservice to God's word and carelessly dangerous if you are a teacher of it.

If it can be shown that God hates even one person at any time, this alone is enough to reject the idea of the post-modern, cotton-candy, fluffy, Jesus-buddy god of vain imaginations.

The scripture I cited below are there for study and instruction. For reference. For edification.

Does God love every last person from Adam to the last in heaven and hell? Let us “rightly handle the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

[from the KJV]

Leviticus 20:23 - And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

Leviticus 26:30 - And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

Deuteronomy 32:19 - And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.

Psalm 5:5 - The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Psalm 5:6 - Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

Psalm 10:3 - For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

Psalm 11:5 - The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Psalm 53:5 - There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

Psalm 73:20 - As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

Psalm 78:59 - When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:

Psalm 106:40 - Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

Proverbs 6:16-19 - These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Proverbs 22:14 - The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.

Lamentations 2:6 - And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

Hosea 9:15 - All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.

Zechariah 11:8 - Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.

Malachi 1:3 - And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Romans 9:13 - As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

This is by no means in exhaustive list. If you want that, try reading every other page of scripture.

To love rightly is to hate sin. Tell the rebels of the King of Kings to repent or they will perish. This is loving. This is the only loving thing to do. This is how you love your neighbor as yourself. Warn them of the impending danger! I can see it now. A man walking down the middle of the highway, his back to oncoming traffic, and Billy G. Christian says, “Hello there sir, God has a wonderful plan for your life!” “Would you like to begin a relationship of Jesus Christ today?” Don’t like that analogy, well I’ll give you my favorite. Picture Noah’s ark floating atop the flood of the entire earth. Thousands everywhere, man, woman, child, and infant drowning in the sea screaming out for salvation. Along side Noah’s great ark is a banner, “Smile! Jesus loves you he has a wonderful plan for your life!”

To tell a sinner that “God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life, all without the necessity of repenting, without true conviction of sin, without disclosing the full counsel of God, is to lie. It is to do your part in condemning one to hell.

The wise Louis Farrakhan

Excerpted from the article "Bomb, not Katrina, broke dikes: Farrakhan"

"A member of the Army Corps of Engineers saw burn marks on the concrete," Farrakhan told reporters, describing an e-mail he had received.

"They found two types of explosives used by the military," he said, without naming the source, adding that an eight-meter (25-foot) crater had been blown in the dike.

Farrakhan said locals had reported sounds of explosions, among other things, leading him to believe the rumors should be investigated.

"Wickedness exists in high places," he said. "The duty of the government is to prove the rumor to be false or that these suspicions are true."

Only in America does Matin Luther King Jr. get assassinated while this degenerate walks freely feasting off the impoverished people he claims to protect. Wait, am I writing about FairyKhan or Jesse Jackson?

Adrian!

Good news. Rocky VI is in production.

What a loser.

And on a similarly pathetic note, Stallone is also said to star in and direct Rambo 4.

Rocky will signal something of a renaissance for 59-year- old Stallone, who will turn 60 during filming, and comes as he attempts to revive his other career-defining role, Rambo. The fourth film in that series is currently in pre-production and will also be produced by Stallone.

What a loser.

D.C. using eminent domain for a ball park

From The Washington Times:

The District will begin using eminent domain to acquire parcels of land at the site of the Washington Nationals' ballpark by the end of this month, after unsuccessful negotiations with nearly half of the landowners.

City officials said they expect to file court documents to take over at least some of the 21-acre site in the coming weeks and have $97 million set aside to buy the properties and help landowners relocate.

The city made offers to all 23 landowners on the site last month but received no response from 10.

"We think there are some that we'll have good-faith negotiations with," said Steve Green, director of development in the office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. "There are some we haven't heard from at all."

Many property owners on the site said the city's offers are inadequate. Others are suing the city on the grounds that it has no right to use eminent domain to acquire land at the site, despite a Supreme Court ruling affirming the right of municipal governments to take private property for the purpose of economic development.

Yet another sign of the doomed future of this once great Republic.

God grant U.S. repentance

American evangelicals have been praising their Dear Leader for being pro-life since their American savior took office in 2000.* His party is in command of Congress, Senate, and the Oval office. All of Bush's Judicial appointments have been against the pro-life position. Although not in rhetoric. Ignore their rhetoric, observe their actions (so stop before you start Bush Kool Aid drinkers). If you need help, take for an example the irrational statement, "I'm pro-life except in cases of rape or incest." G.W. has made this statement numerous times. This is not only irrational, but illogical, and a massive contradiction leading me to believe undisciplined minds (or even retarded) people think in such a way. Or to put it another, clearer way, "I'm against murdering children in the womb, but I think you can murder a child if the mother was raped or conceived by incest" (or in Bush's case for political expediency). Either way, this position is certainly not PRO-life.

As with many subjects though, my arguments won't be challenged nor my reasoning and logical thought. No, I will be attacked purely on emotional grounds. This is how the foolish win in academia and in the electoral college. "Are YOU going to adopt these millions and millions of unwanted children?!" As if my willingness or lack their of to adopt infants washes the blood of children off the hands of their executioners. Morons to boot.

Life is life regardless of how the life came to be. Babies are precious - yes, even the babies of rapists and criminals. Yes, even the babies with mental handicaps, physical abnormalities, or any other number of "undesirables" that self-righteous murderers find fit to exterminate.

Of course, some super-patriot will object, "Calling them murderers is such strong language!" "America isn't that bad!" "They just don't know is all." "We need to educate them."

Here is the education: over 40,000,000 aborted babies in the last 30 years.

Wake up. They KNOW the truth, They just don't care about it.

I feel a certain affinity with the prophet Isaiah. In his day, in his own country, once identified as faithful servants of God, became murderous whores. The following excerpts come from the first chapter of Isaiah. Verse 4 reads:

Ah, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the Lord, they have despised the Holy One of Israel, they are utterly estranged.

In verse 21:

How the faithful city has become a whore, she who was full of justice! Righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.

How merciful is God that He calls us to reason with Him. We hear of His graciousness in verses 18-20:

Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

America must repent. All of America. Or we shall surely die.

* I voted for Bush in 2000 based on the confession of his obedience to Christ. He made promises about several issues. Ranging from limiting the power the federal government wields over it's citizens to abortion. He has failed to keep even one.

Florida city considers eminent domain

Surprise, in line with New London, Conn., Florida is now using eminent domain to remove an entire town as The Washington Times reports:

In the Kelo ruling, a divided Supreme Court held that private development offering jobs and increased tax revenues constituted a public use of property, but the court held that state legislatures can draft eminent-domain statutes to their satisfaction.

Dana Berliner, senior lawyer with the Institute for Justice, which represented homeowners in the Kelo case, said "pie in the sky" expectations like those expressed by Mr. Brown are routine in all these cases.

"They always think economic redevelopment will bring more joy than what is there now," she said. "Once someone can be replaced so something more expensive can go where they were, every home and business in the country is subject to taking by someone else."

Last week, the Riviera Beach City Council tapped the New Jersey-based Viking Inlet Harbor Properties LLC to oversee the mammoth 400-acre redevelopment project.

"More than 2,000 homes could be eligible for confiscation," said H. Adams Weaver, a local lawyer who is assisting protesting homeowners.

It's rare when I find a lawyer to be upright and fair. It seems most Americans have no problems using Federal powers to coerce society into their imagined utopia. I've noticed the more one respects and honors the Constitution (and it's intentions) the less likely they are to judge the Feds have rights to arbitrarily confiscate private property at will.

In essence, the more likely they're not liberals.*

*It matters not what one calls himself, it matters what one believes to be true and their actions in accordance with those beliefs (i.e. George W. Bush says he's "conservative" yet his record shows him to be Liberal in the broader sense. While he once used conservative rhetoric, now he doesn't even try to hide it). If I were to estimate the time frame he dropped this facade it would be roughly around the end of the last Presidential election.
